• By car from Nea Anchialos National Airport (VOL) to Aegea is 52 miles.  From the airport to central Volos is 19 miles.

• From Thessaloniki Airport (SKG) to Aegea is 173 miles and from Thessaloniki to central Volos is 147 miles on the excellent E75 - follow signposts for Athens and then Volos (there are tolls on route)

• Thessaloniki to Volos by train approximately 5 hours

• Thessaloniki to Volos by bus approximately 3.5 hours

• From central Volos to Aegea is a 25 mile drive over the mountain on a breathtaking and beautiful winding road.  You can stop in the mountain villages for refreshments.  If travelling from Thessaloniki or Athens, Volos is well worth a visit on route as it has a lovely marina, cafes and shops
